Lieutenant-Colonel Richard Francis "Dick" Strawbridge, MBE (geboren 3. September 1959) ist ein britischer Ingenieur, TV-Moderator und Umweltschützer. Er wird oft als "Colonel Dick".
Das Dritte von sieben Kindern, Strawbridge wurde in Burma geboren, danach aufgewachsen in der Grafschaft Antrim, Nord Irland. Er besuchte Ballyclare High School von 1971 bis 1976.
Strawbridge erhalten eine provision in der britischen Armee im Jahr 1979, nach der Teilnahme an Welbeck DSFC (als Leiter der Schule) und Sandhurst. Er trat in die Royal Corps von Signalen im Januar 1980. Zum Leutnant befördert, im April 1981, und Kapitän im Oktober 1985 wurde er zum Major im September 1991.
