Wynton Learson Marsalis (d. 18 Ekim 1961); Amerikalı trompetçi, besteci, öğretmen, müzik eğitimcisi ve Jazz at Lincoln Center'in sanat yönetmeni. Marsalis'in bestelediği Blood on the Fields, Pulitzer Müzik Ödülü'ne layık görülen ilk caz bestedir. Hayatı boyunca birçok ödül kazanmıştır.
Wytnon Learson Marsalis, 18 Ekim 1961 tarihinde New Orleans, Louisiana'da doğdu. Babasının adı Ellis Marsalis Jr., annesinin adı ise Delores (née Ferdinand)'dir. Babası piyanist ve müzik profesörüdür. Marsalis'in kardeşleri: Branford Marsalis, Marsalis III (1964), Delfeayo Marsalis, Mboya Kinyatta Marsalis (1971), ve Jason Marsalis. Ayrıca Branford, Delfeayo, Jason ve baba Ellis de Caz müzisyenidir. Elis III ise şair, fotoğrafçı Baltimore merkezli ağ mühendisidir.
8 yaşında geldiğinde Wynton, bançocu Danny Barker tarafından yönetilen Fairview Baptist Church müzik grubunda geleneksel New Orleans müziği yapmaya başladı. 14 yaşına geldiğinde ise New Orleans Philharmonic ile müzik yaptı. Lise yılları boyunca Marsalis, New Orleans Symphony Brass Quintet, New Orleans Community Concert Band, New Orleans Gençlik Orkestrası, New Orleans Senfonisi, various jazz bands ve yerel funk müzik gruplarıyla müzik yapmıştır.
