Biyografi (wiki)
Isabelle Geffroy (d. 1 Mayıs 1980; Tours, Fransa), bilinen adıyla Zaz, Fransız şarkıcı. 10 Mayıs 2010'da yayınlanan Zaz albümündeki "Je Veux" şarkısıyla çıkış yakalamıştır.
Annesi bir İspanyolca öğretmeniydi, babası ise bir elektrik şirketinde çalışıyordu. 1985'te kız kardeşi ve erkek kardeşi ile birlikte Conservatoire à rayonnement régional de Tours okuluna katıldı ve 5 ile 11 yaşları arasında kurslara gitti. Müzik aletleri öğrendi; özellikle keman, piyano, gitar ve koro müziği. 1994'te Bordeaux'ya taşındı. 1995 yılında şarkı söyleme dersleri almaya başladı ve yıllarca Bordeaux'da spor yaptı, bunların dışında profesyonel bir hocadan kung fu dersleri de almıştır. 2000 yılında CIAM üniversitesini kazandı. Müzik kariyeri Vivaldi'den "Four Seasons" şarkısıyla başlamış ve 2006'da Paris'e taşınmıştır.
Sonraki yıl dünya turuna çıktı ve Japonya, Kanada, Almanya, İsviçre, Slovenya, Çek Cumhuriyeti, Hırvatistan, Bulgaristan, Sırbistan ve Türkiye gibi ülkelerde konserler verdi.
2013 yılında ikinci stüdyo albümü Recto Verso'yu yayımladı. Albümün ilk single'ı "On ira" 11 Mart 2013'te, ikinci single'ı "Si" 14 Ekim 2013'te piyasaya sürüldü.
2015 yılında Paris albümündeki başarısıyla En İyi Uluslararası Kadın Sanatçı Echo Ödülü'nü kazandı.
Fransa'nın dünyaca ünlü iki yıldızı Fréhel ve Edith Piaf'ı hatırlatan Zaz'ın sesi Fransa kadar diğer ülkelerde de çok beğenildi. Genelde kendi bestesi olan şarkılarının içtenliği, buğulu ve karakteristik sesi Zaz'ı dünya çapında üne kavuşturdu. "Le Long de la Route" ve Kerredine Soltani imzalı "Je Veux" şarkıları ile herkesçe bilinen ve müzisyen kişiliğiyle de dikkat çeken Zaz, hem şarkılarının içerikleri hem de sesiyle çok beğenilmektedir.
