Maya kökenli Meksikalı bir müzisyen, şarkıcı ve besteci, yaygın olarak Latin Amerika'nın en başarılı besteci, savaş sonrası dönemi ve bir premier Meksika romantik bir besteci olarak kabul Mérida doğumlu Armando Manzanero-Canché (1935 7 Aralık'ta Yucatán). 2014 yılında Amerika Birleşik Devletleri'nde Grammy Yaşam Boyu Başarı Ödülü aldı.
