Полунин Сергей Владимирович (украинский: Сергій Володимирович Полунін, Сергей Владимирович Полунин; русский: Сергей Владимирович Полунин, Сергей Владимирович Полунин; родился 20 ноября 1989) - украинский артист балета, актер и модель.
Как независимый танцовщик, Полунин-это приглашенный художник в различных театрах мира, таких как Королевский балет, театр сэдлерс Уэллс в театр, Габт, им. Станиславского и Немировича-Данченко Московский Академический музыкальный театр, театр "Ла Скала", театр Сан-Карло и в настоящее время является постоянным приглашенным артистом для баварского Staatsballet.
Сергей Полунин родился в Херсоне, украинская ССР. В возрасте от четырех до восьми, он обучался в Академии гимнастики, а затем провел еще четыре года в Киевском государственном Хореографическом Институте. Его мать, Галина переехала с ним в Киев, в то время как его отец, Владимир Полунин, работал в Португалии, чтобы поддержать их.
После того, как Полунин окончил Киевское хореографическое училище (КДХУ) он присоединился к Британской Королевской балетной школе в возрасте 13 лет в 2003 году, при поддержке Фонда Рудольфа Нуреева. Он стал первым солистом Королевского балета в 2009 году. В июне 2010 года в возрасте 20 лет, Полунин стал самым молодым Королевским балетом не основные. После двух успешных лет, на 24 января 2012 года Полунин объявил о своем уходе из компании с немедленным вступлением в силу. Он сказал, что он стал таким несчастным, что "художник во мне умирает".
