Джордж Роджер Уотерс (англ. George Roger Waters; 6 сентября 1943, Большой Букхем, Англия) — британский рок-музыкант, вокалист, бас-гитарист, композитор, поэт.
Наиболее известен как один из основателей (конец 1965) и лидеров (с конца 1967 до ухода в 1984-м) группы Pink Floyd. В период своего лидерства он являлся автором подавляющего большинства текстов и немалой части музыки, а также основным идеологом группы и главным автором самого концептуального альбома группы The Wall. С середины семидесятых началось явное ухудшение отношений между музыкантами в группе, а доля Уотерса в сочинении альбомов продолжила возрастать, сводя остальных музыкантов порой лишь к роли аранжировщиков. Следствием этого стал уход Ричарда Райта из Pink Floyd в 1981 году, а на альбоме The Final Cut Уотерс стал практически единственным автором.
В 1985 году Уотерс покинул группу, решив, что она исчерпала себя. Он полагал, что без него коллектив окажется нежизнеспособен, однако Дэвид Гилмор решил иначе: он пригласил большое количество сессионных музыкантов, вернул в группу Ричарда Райта и начал запись нового альбома, что вызвало решительный протест со стороны Уотерса. Между группой и Уотерсом началась неизбежная в таком случае информационная перепалка. Уотерс даже подал в суд, дабы вернуть себе права на название Pink Floyd, однако проиграл процесс.
