Намиэ Амуро (яп. 安室 奈美恵 Амуро Намиэ) — японская поп-певица. Родилась 20 сентября 1977 в Нахе, Окинава. Принадлежит продюсерской компании VISION FACTORY и выпускает диски под лейблом Avex Trax.
В 1995—1997 годах была причиной так называемого «Амуро-бума», когда Амуро стала идолом для японских девушек и ввела моду на короткие юбки и высокие сапоги, считавшиеся её «фирменным» стилем. По сей день остаётся одной из популярнейших певиц Японии: её альбомы и синглы по-прежнему дебютируют на первых местах.
В 2003 году, несмотря на замужество и перерыв в карьере, она была включена в составленный компанией HMV топ-100 японских музыкантов под номером 53.
Амуро родилась средней из трёх дочерей. Её мать, Эмико Тайра (яп. 平良 恵美子 Тайра Эмико), развелась с отцом Намиэ, когда ей было 4 года, и воспитывала девочек, работая днём в детском саду и хостесс по вечерам.
Впоследствии Эмико написала в книге «Уговор — моей дочери, Намиэ Амуро», что первый муж бил её. Кроме того, в той же книге было Эмико писала, что является полукровкой со стороны отца (предположительно итальянкой, что делает Намиэ на четверть итальянкой), но по словам Намиэ, ни бабушка, ни мать до самой смерти не говорили с ней об этом.
