Mehrzad Мараши; (родился 20 сентября 1980) - иранский-немецкий певец и победитель сезона sucht Ден SuperStar на Дойчланд 7.
Родился в Тегеране, Иран, где его отец был в военной профессии во время шахского режима. Семья эмигрировала в Германию по политическим причинам, когда Mehrzad было всего шесть, проживающего в Гамбурге. В 13 лет он присоединился к госпел-хором и в итоге заняли занятия в Sängerakademie изучении голоса и фортепиано. Взяв сценическое имя Мараски, он выпустил собственного производства записи найти некоторый ограниченный успех. Он записал "она ушла", кавер "она как ветер" с Патриком Суэйзи. Он открыл караоке-бар, но бизнес прогорел и ему пришлось жить на пособие какое-то время.
Мараши пробовался на седьмой сезон шоу Германия sucht Ден SuperStar на изначально под сценическим именем Мараски. Очень заметно во время живого шоу на DSDS 10 апреля 2010 года, в топ-3 этап, Мараши предложил жениться на своей подруге. Они поженились 7 июля 2010 года в Гамбурге. В итоге он одержал победу над другим финалистом Menowin Фрелих с 56.4% голосов избирателей.
