Mehrzad Marashi; (nato il 20 settembre 1980) è un Iraniano-tedesco cantante e vincitore di Deutschland sucht den Superstar stagione 7.
Nato a Teheran, in Iran, dove suo padre era un militare di professione durante il regime dello Shah. La famiglia emigrò in Germania per motivi politici, quando Mehrzad aveva solo sei residente a Amburgo. Alle 13 è entrato in un coro gospel e alla fine ha preso lezioni presso l'Sängerakademie a studiare canto e pianoforte. Assunto il nome Marasco, ha rilasciato autoprodotto registrazioni di trovare qualche limitato successo. Ha inciso "she's Gone", una cover di "she's Like the Wind" di Patrick Swayze. Molto particolare durante un live show su CENTOVETRINE su aprile 10, 2010, durante i primi 3 stage, Marashi proposto di sposare la sua fidanzata. I due si sono sposati il 7 luglio 2010 a Amburgo. Alla fine ha vinto contro l'altra finalista Menowin Fröhlich con il 56,4% del voto del pubblico.
