Eliud Kipchoge (Kapsisiywa, 5 de novembro de 1984) é um fundista campeão olímpico e mundial queniano, especializado em provas de pista de longa distância e na maratona, e vencedor das maratonas de Londres, Chicago, Berlim e Roterdã. Tem a terceira marca mais rápida do mundo para a maratona e é considerado o maior maratonista da atualidade.
Iniciando a carreira como corredor de pista e de cross-country, em 2003, aos 19 anos, venceu o Campeonato Mundial Júnior de Cross-Country, estabelecendo um novo recorde mundial para a categoria nos 5000 m e logo em seguida conquistou a medalha de ouro na mesma prova do Campeonato Mundial de Atletismo de Paris, entre os adultos, derrotando o recordista mundial dos 1500 m e futuro bicampeão olímpico Hicham El Guerrouj, do Marrocos, em cima da linha de chegada. No ano seguinte, ficou com a medalha de bronze na prova nos Jogos de Atenas 2004.
Em 2007 ele conquistou a medalhado de prata no Campeonato Mundial de Osaka, no Japão, e no ano seguinte outra prata também nos 5000 m de Pequim 2008, sua segunda medalha olímpica. Depois de participações em campeonatos mundiais sem medalhas e fracassar em conseguir uma vaga na equipe queniana para Londres 2012, Kipchoge fez a transição das pistas para as ruas e para distâncias mais longas, passando a disputar meias-maratonas e maratonas. Em 2012, estreou na distância dos 21,1 km na Meia-Maratona de Lille, na França, correndo em menos de uma hora – 59:25 – e conseguindo o terceiro lugar em sua estreia nesta prova.
