Jamie Foxx, właśc. Eric Marlon Bishop (ur. 13 grudnia 1967 w Terrell) – amerykański aktor, komik stand-upowy oraz wokalista. Za swoją rolę w filmie Ray został nagrodzony Oscarem, Złotym Globem, a także statuetką Brytyjskiej Akademii Sztuk Filmowych i Telewizyjnych (BAFTA). Był również kilkakrotnie nominowany do nagród Grammy.
Foxx jest trzecim Afroamerykaninem, który zdobył nagrodę Akademii dla najlepszego aktora pierwszoplanowego. Wydał także album numer jeden w Stanach Zjednoczonych (pozostali to: Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby i Barbra Streisand).
Urodził się jako Eric Marlon Bishop 13 grudnia 1967 roku w Terrell, w stanie Teksas. Jest synem Louise Annette Talley Dixon i Darrella Bishopa, maklera papierów wartościowych. Bishop, po przejściu na islam, zmienił swoje imię na Shahid Abdula. Gdy Foxx miał siedem miesięcy został porzucony przez rodziców i opiekę nad nim przejęli rodzice adopcyjni jego matki, Estelle i Mark Talley. W okresie jego dzieciństwa w Terrell, gdzie cały czas mieszkał, panował podział rasowy. Wychowywany był według wymagających reguł baptyzmu, którego wyznawcami byli jego dziadkowie. Foxx, pod wpływem babci, w wieku pięciu lat rozpoczął naukę gry na pianinie. Jako nastolatek był pianistą oraz liderem chóru w kościele baptystów w Terrell.
