Twiggy Lawson, all'anagrafe Lesley Hornby (Londra, 19 settembre 1949), è una modella, attrice e cantante inglese.
Nata a Neasden, un sobborgo di Londra, viene scoperta all'età di sedici anni da Justin de Villeneuve, che la nota da un parrucchiere dove lavora come shampista, e ne diviene il fidanzato e ben presto il manager, intuendo in lei "il volto nuovo" che la Swinging London degli anni sessanta attendeva. La lancia con il soprannome di "Twiggy" ("stecchino") in esplicito riferimento alla sua magrezza adolescenziale.
Appena un anno dopo, Twiggy raggiunge una celebrità inimmaginabile, allorché Mary Quant decide di affidare alla sua immagine il lancio della minigonna. Divenuta maggiorenne, rompe con de Villeneuve e amplia i suoi orizzonti, apparendo come attrice e cantante, soprattutto nel film Il boy friend (1971), diretto da Ken Russell. Da allora recita in diversi ruoli sia sul palco che davanti alla cinepresa. Nel 1983 Twiggy debutta a Broadway, diretta e affiancata da Tommy Tune, nel musical My One and Only, basato sulle musiche di Gershwin, ed ottiene una nomination ai Tony Award.
