Manuel Alejandro Medrano López (le 29 octobre 1987,Cartagena, Colombie), connu comme le Manuel de Medrano, est un Colombien pop chanteur et gagnant de deux Latin Grammy Awards.
Son chant et l'écriture sont une façon de dire merci pour le soutien de sa famille. L'histoire de Manuel Medrano commence quand il a échoué une année scolaire et qui, comme "punition", il a reçu une guitare. À partir de l'âge de 16 ans, il a commencé à écrire des chansons, ce qui l'a motivé à se lancer dans une carrière en tant qu'artiste solo.
Pendant plusieurs années, il a joué dans les bars à Bogota lors de la composition de ses chansons, qui, des années plus tard, l'a rendu populaire au niveau national.
En août 2014, il sort "Afuera del planeta", son premier single. La lecture de la chanson a augmenté progressivement sur la radio nationale, au point de devenir l'un des hits de l'année. Grâce à cette chanson, il a été nominé deux fois pour le Choc des prix de la musique: dans le Meilleur Nouvel Artiste et Meilleur de Choc Présente les catégories.
