Тим Майя (португальский произношение: ; 28 сентября 1942 г. – 15 марта 1998), родился Себастьяно Родригес, Майя в Рио-де-Жанейро, был Бразильский музыкант, композитор и бизнесмен, известный своим иконоборческим, ироничный, откровенный, юморной и музыкальный стиль. Майя способствовали Бразильскую музыку в самых разнообразных музыкальных жанров, включая соул, фанк, босса-Нова, диско, романтические баллады, поп, рок, джаз, baião и МПБ. Он ввел стиль души на бразильской музыкальной сцене. Тим Майа признана в мире как одна из самых больших икон бразильской музыки.
Тим Майа записал множество альбомов и гастролирует в долгой карьере. После его ранней смерти в 1998 году, его записали творчество показало устойчивую популярность. Театрализованную ретроспективу своей карьеры, популярная музыкальная Вале Тудо, была впервые поставлена в Рио-де-Жанейро в 2012 году.
