Серге́й Ви́кторович Жигуно́в (род. 2 января 1963, Ростов-на-Дону) — советский и российский актёр кино и телевидения, кинорежиссёр, продюсер. Заслуженный артист Российской Федерации (1995).
Президент «Гильдии актёров кино России» с 2000 по 2004 годы.
Сергей Жигунов родился 2 января 1963 года в Ростове-на-Дону в актёрской семье.
После восьмого класса средней школы был отчислен из неё за плохое поведение. Учился в ростовских средних школах — сначала в школе № 20, потом в школе № 75, и в музыкальной школе имени Н. А. Римского-Корсакова. Участвовал в одном из школьных ансамблей, играл на гитаре и пел. Много читал. Первой заинтересовавшей его книгой стала «История Древней Греции». Потом последовали произведения Фенимора Купера, Александра Дюма, а в старших классах он зачитывался О. Генри, Ремарком и Хемингуэем.
Впервые поступил в Высшее театральное училище имени Б. В. Щукина в 1980 году, но вскоре был отчислен за «профнепригодность», так как стал сниматься в кино и почти забросил учёбу. Вернувшись в Ростов-на-Дону, играл в Ростовском театре юного зрителя. Спустя год, в 1982 году, восстановился в Щукинском училище уже на другом курсе (художественный руководитель курса — Марианна Рубеновна Тер-Захарова) и в 1986 году окончил его.
