Айрис Баррель Апфель (англ. Iris Barrel Apfel, род. 29 августа 1921) — американский коллекционер и дизайнер.
Айрис родилась в семье Сэмюэла Баррела (англ. Samuel Barrel) и его жены, еврейской эмигрантки из России Сэди (англ. Sadye), которая содержала модный бутик. Отец Айрис — предприниматель, специализировавшийся на поставке предметов из зеркал и стекла, работал с лучшими дизайнерами США, когда позже она начинала свою карьеру, он помог ей освоиться в этой среде.
Она изучала историю искусств в Нью-Йоркском университете и посещала художественную школу при Висконсинском университете в Мадисоне.
В 1948 году вышла замуж за Карла Апфеля, с которым была в браке более 67-ми лет. Карл Апфель умер в августе 2015, не дожив 3 дней до своего 101-летия.
В начале своей карьеры Айрис работала на журнал Women's Wear Daily, на дизайнера интерьеров Элионора Джонсона, а также была личным помощником иллюстратора Роберта Гудмана.
