Hedy Lamarr, nome artístico de Hedwig Eva Maria Kiesler, (Viena, 9 de novembro de 1914 — Altamonte Springs, 19 de janeiro de 2000) foi uma atriz e inventora austríaca radicada nos Estados Unidos.
A sua mais significativa contribuição tecnológica deu-se durante a Segunda Guerra Mundial, tendo sido sua co-invenção, juntamente com o compositor George Antheil, um sistema de comunicações para as Forças Armadas dos Estados Unidos que serviu de base para a atual telefonia celular.
Lamarr nasceu em Viena, Áustria, de pais judeus. A mãe, Gertrud (nascida Lichtwitz), era uma pianista de Budapeste, vinda de uma família de classe média, e o pai, Lemberg, nascido Emil Kiesler, um diretor bancário. Hedy estudou balé e piano até os 10 anos de idade.
Quando, mais tarde, trabalhou com Max Reinhardt, em Berlim, foi considerada, por ele, a "mais bela mulher da Europa". Durante a adolescência, fez diversos papéis em filmes alemães, ao lado de atores como Heinz Rühmann e Hans Moser.
