Dikembe Mutombo Mpolondo Mukamba Jean-Jacques Wamutombo (Kinshasa, 25 de junho de 1966) é um ex-jogador profissional de basquetebol nascido na República Democrática do Congo.
Foi atleta da NBA por quase duas décadas. Destacou-se como grande defensor e bloqueador na liga de basquetebol norte-americana, tendo recebido o "Defensive Player of the Year Award" concedido pela NBA, nas temporadas de 1994-1995, 1996-1997, 1997-1998 e 2000-2001, sendo assim recordista individual do prêmio, juntamente com o jogador Ben Wallace. Tem 2,18m de altura e pesa 118 kg.
Muito conhecido pelos seus atos de caridade, fundou um hospital com nome de sua mãe que cuida de crianças em seu país. Tem a fundação Dikembe Mutombo que também ajuda as crianças órfãs. Ele fala inglês, francês, espanhol, português e cinco Variação linguística da África Central.Ele é um membro da etnia Balubas.
Muito respeitado pelos colegas de profissão pelo seu caráter e na facilidade de fazer amizades. Quando conseguia um bloqueio (toco), algo muito comum na sua carreira, fazia sinal de negativo, ou seja, indicava que no garrafão por ele defendido não seria fácil penetrar. Tem a segunda maior marca de bloqueios de toda a NBA com 3.289, perdendo apenas para Hakeem Olajuwon, ídolo do Houston Rockets, último time de Mutombo.
