Melania Trump (ur. jako Melanija Knavs 26 kwietnia 1970 w Sevnicy, w późniejszych latach znana jako Melania Knauss) – słoweńsko-amerykańska modelka. Pierwsza dama Stanów Zjednoczonych od 20 stycznia 2017, małżonka 45. prezydenta Stanów Zjednoczonych Donalda Trumpa.
Melania Trump urodziła się jako Melanija Knavs 26 kwietnia 1970 w małym, leżącym niedaleko Lublany mieście Sevnica, w Słowenii (wtedy stanowiącej część Jugosławii). Jej rodzicami byli sprzedawca samochodów Viktor Knavs i pracownica fabryki tekstylnej Amalija Ulčnik. W 1985 wraz z rodzicami opuściła rodzinne miasto i zamieszkała w Lublanie. Tam skończyła Średnią Szkołę Projektowania i Fotografii. Następnie podjęła studia na wydziale projektowania Uniwersytetu Lublańskiego, jednakże po roku przerwała je ze względu na rozwijającą się karierę modelki.
Działalność w modelingu rozpoczęła w wieku 16 lat, od pozowania dla słoweńskiego fotografa mody Stane Jerko. Dwa lata później podpisała kontrakt z agencją modelek z Mediolanu. Kontynuowała karierę modelki w tym mieście, a następnie pracowała w Paryżu. Zmieniła wtedy swoje nazwisko na niemiecko wyglądającą formę Melania Knauss. Pracowała z uznanymi na całym świecie fotografami mody, m.in. z Patrickiem Demarchelierem, Helmutem Newtonem, Arthurem Elgortem, Ellenem Von Unwerthem, Peterem Arnellem, Antoinem Verglasem i Mario Testino. Trafiła przy tym na okładki najważniejszych pism modowych takich jak „Vogue”, „Harper’s Bazaar”, „Ocean Drive”, „Avenue”, „In Style” i „New York Magazine”. W 2000 wzięła udział w rozbieranej sesji zdjęciowej dla brytyjskiej edycji magazynu „GQ”, która odbyła się na pokładzie prywatnego odrzutowca należącego do Donalda Trumpa.
