Lino Ventura, właściwie Angiolino Giuseppe Pasquale Ventura (ur. 14 lipca 1919 w Parmie, zm. 22 października 1987 roku w Saint-Cloud, w regionie Île-de-France, w departamencie Hauts-de-Seine) – francuski aktor włoskiego pochodzenia.
Urodzony w północnych Włoszech jako syn Giovanniego Ventury i Luisy Borrini, mając osiem lat opuścił szkołę i pracował jako pomocnik mechanika. W wieku dziewięciu lat przeniósł się z rodziną do Paryża, gdzie dorastał. W 1942 roku, mając 23 lata, ożenił się z Odette, z którą miał czworo dzieci; trzy córki – Mylène (ur. 1946), Lindę (ur. 1958) i Clelii (ur. 1961) oraz syna Laurenta (ur. 1950). Długo nie był w stanie podjąć decyzji o tym, co będzie robił w życiu. W końcu rozpoczął karierę jako zapaśnik w stylu klasycznym i wziął udział w mistrzostwach Europy w 1950 roku.
Jednak po poniesieniu poważnej kontuzji, został zmuszony do rezygnacji ze sportu. Dla kina odkrył go francuski reżyser filmowy Jacques Becker, który powierzył niedoświadczonemu 34-letniemu debiutantowi rolę gangstera Angelo Fraisera w thrillerze kryminalnym Nie tykać łupu (Touchez pas au grisbi, 1954). Ventura wystąpił tam u boku m.in. Jeanne Moreau i Jeana Gabina, który był pod wrażeniem debiutanta i zachęcił go do kontynuowania kariery aktorskiej. Przez kilka kolejnych lat kreował role negatywnych typów, wzbogacając je później postaciami policjantów.
