Geert Wilders (ur. 6 września 1963 w Venlo) – holenderski polityk. Członek Tweede Kamer (holenderskiej Izby Reprezentantów) od 1998, najpierw z ramienia liberalnej Partii Ludowej na rzecz Wolności i Demokracji (VVD), a od 2006 roku z Partii Wolności (PVV), której jest założycielem i przywódcą. W 2008 opublikował film Fitna krytykujący ideologię islamu.
Wilders od 17. do 19. roku życia mieszkał w Izraelu, a następnie ponad 40 razy odwiedził ten kraj w ciągu 25 lat. Podczas kolejnych podróży spotkał się z Arielem Szaronem i Ehudem Olmertem. Dla Wildersa Ariel Szaron oraz Margaret Thatcher stali się według jego słów przykładem do naśladowania. Planował również opuszczenie Holandii oraz zamieszkanie na stałe w Izraelu, ponieważ czuł, że tam jeszcze „można pracować dla pieniędzy”. Jako student Wilders pracował w fabryce chleba w moszawie, i za pierwsze zarobione pieniądze odbył podróż po Izraelu oraz okolicznych państwach. Jak sam określił, „czuję się, że pochodzę z Izraela”. W przemówieniu wyborczym w Tel Awiwie ujął to tak: „W ostatnich latach odwiedziłem wiele ciekawych krajów w regionie: od Syrii do Egiptu, od Tunezji do Iranu, od Turcji od Cypru, ale nigdzie nie mam tego specjalnego poczucia solidarności, kiedy stawiam swoją stopę na lotnisku Ben-Guriona na izraelskiej ziemi. Po powrocie z Izraela dla tygodnika Der Spiegel Wilders powiedział: „możliwe, że moi przodkowie byli żydowskiego pochodzenia”.
