Elle Macpherson, właściwie: Eleanor Gow (ur. 29 marca 1964 w Cronulla, Nowa Południowa Walia) – australijska modelka i aktorka, znana także jako „The Body”.
Elle pracę modelki rozpoczęła w 1980 roku w rodzinnej Australii. W 1981 roku przyleciała do Nowego Jorku, by podpisać kontrakt z agencją Women. Z każdym miesiącem pracy w Nowym Jorku nazwisko Elle stawało się coraz bardziej rozpoznawalne. Zaczęła uczestniczyć w kampaniach reklamowych, m.in.: Azzedine Alaïa, Bendon, Biotherm, Christian Dior oraz Escada. Po tych sukcesach wysłano ją do Londynu i Paryża, później do Mediolanu. W 1986 roku tygodnik Time nadał Elle przydomek „The Body” (ciało). Pod koniec lat 80. miała już za sobą mnóstwo okładek i sesji zdjęciowych (Elle, Cosmopolitan, Marie Claire) oraz pokazów mody, m.in.: Ralph Lauren i Azzedine Alaia. W 1990 roku została okrzyknięta przez brytyjski Vogue mianem jednej z pierwszych supermodelek, obok m.in.: Naomi Campbell, Tatjany Patitz i Lindy Evangelisty. W latach 90. wielokrotnie była główną modelką na pokazach mody takich projektantów jak: John Galliano, Valentino, Christian Dior, Zeki Triko, Victorio & Lucchino, Thierry Mugler.
