Lucky Luciano, all'anagrafe Charles Luciano, nato Salvatore Lucania (Lercara Friddi, 24 novembre 1897 – Napoli, 26 gennaio 1962), è stato un mafioso italiano naturalizzato statunitense, legato alla cosiddetta "Cosa nostra statunitense".
Salvatore Lucania Nenna assunse legalmente, negli Stati Uniti d'America, il nome di Charles Luciano, e successivamente il soprannome "Lucky", cioè "fortunato". Tale soprannome gli venne attribuito in seguito ad una vicenda accaduta il 16 ottobre 1929: alcuni uomini non identificati lo accoltellarono più volte e lo lasciarono in una spiaggia di Staten Island con la gola squarciata, credendolo morto, ma Luciano si salvò, e da allora venne chiamato «Lucky», il fortunato.
È considerato il padre del moderno crimine organizzato nonché uno dei protagonisti della massiccia espansione del commercio di eroina nel secondo dopoguerra. È stato un potente boss dell'attuale Famiglia Genovese. Il Time Magazine ha inserito Luciano tra i 20 uomini più influenti del XX secolo.
