Lindsey Stirling (Santa Ana, 21 settembre 1986) è una violinista, compositrice e ballerina statunitense.
Lindsey è conosciuta per la sua versatilità nel suonare diversi generi musicali, dal country, all'hip hop. Nel 2010, all'età di 23 anni, Stirling è entrata nei quarti di finale della quinta stagione di America's Got Talent, dove si era presentata come Hip Hop Violinist.
Nata a Santa Ana, nella Contea di Orange (California) e cresciuta a Gilbert (Arizona), si trasferì in seguito a Provo (Utah).
All'età di 5 anni, influenzata dai dischi di musica classica del padre, Lindsey chiese di poter imparare a suonare il Violino. Nonostante la difficile situazione economica familiare, Lindsey iniziò le prime lezioni all'età di 6 anni.
Lindsey ha ricevuto lezioni private per 12 anni. A 16 anni si unì a quattro amici per creare una rock band chiamata Stomp on Melvin, per la quale compose un brano rock per violino, che la aiutò a vincere i due titoli di Miss Arizona Jr. nel 2005, e la categoria 'talento' di Miss America Jr.
