Biografia (wiki)
Irama, pseudonimo di Filippo Maria Fanti (Carrara, 20 dicembre 1995), è un cantautore italiano vincitore della diciassettesima edizione del talent show Amici di Maria De Filippi.
Cresciuto a Monza, dichiara di essersi interessato fin da bambino alla musica di Francesco Guccini e Fabrizio De André, per poi avvicinarsi all'hip-hop. La sua musica è un connubio di diversi generi, influenze e anche beat dalla strada. Il suo nome d'arte, scelto dopo avere anagrammato il secondo nome, Irama, vuol dire proprio "ritmo" in lingua malese.
Nel 2014 ha collaborato con Valerio Sgargi, incidendo tre singoli: Amore mio, Per te e È andata così, mentre nel 2015 ha collaborato con Benji & Fede incidendo Fino a farmi male.
Il 27 novembre 2015, con il brano Cosa resterà, scritto a quattro mani con Giulio Nenna, è risultato fra gli otto vincitori dell’ottava edizione del concorso canoro Sanremo Giovani, che gli ha consentito l’ammissione di diritto al 66º Festival di Sanremo nella categoria Proposte. In tale occasione si è classificato settimo nella graduatoria finale, dopo aver perso la sfida eliminatoria in favore di Ermal Meta con Odio le favole.
