Edita Piekha (in russo: Эдита Станиславовна Пьеха, Edita Stanislavovna Pyekha, polacco: Edyta Piecha francese Édith-Marie Pierha) russo, cantante e attrice di origine polacca. Era il terzo popolare cantante, dopo Klavdiya Shulzhenko e Sofia Rotaru, ad essere nominato Artista del Popolo dell'URSS (1988).
Edita Piekha è un noto attivista pubblico per le cause umanitarie, ed è un sostenitore di orfanotrofi in Russia.
Edita Piekha è nato in Noyelles-sous-Lens, in Francia, nel 1937, etnico, famiglia polacca. Suo padre era Stanisław Piecha, una miniera di lavoro, e sua madre era Felicja Korolewska. Dal 1945 al 1955 Edita Piekha vissuto in Boguszów, Polonia con sua madre e il patrigno. Ci ha studiato musica, cantato in un coro, ed eccelleva in russo alla sua scuola, diplomandosi al top della sua classe.
Nel 1955, Edita Piekha trasferisce a Leningrado per studio di psicologia di stato di borsa di studio. Dal 1955 al 1957, ha frequentato A. A. Zhdanov Università Statale di Leningrado (ora noto come Saint Petersburg State University). Lì ha incontrato il pianista e compositore Aleksandr Bronevitsky. Insieme hanno formato la prima band molto popolare in Russia, denominato Druzhba, e ha dato loro prima esibizione alla Vigilia del Nuovo Anno, il 31 dicembre 1955, con il canto polacco "Autobus czerwony", che divenne popolare in URSS.
