Roman Arkadievitch Abramovitch (en russe : Роман Аркадьевич Абрамович, transcription anglaise : Roman Arkadyevich Abramovich), né le 24 octobre 1966 à Saratov, Union soviétique, est un homme d'affaires, oligarque et multimilliardaire russe, ancien gouverneur du district autonome de Tchoukotka dans l’extrême orient russe de 2000 à 2008.
En février 2017 sa fortune est estimée à 9,2 milliards de dollars. Il est le 12 homme le plus riche de Russie et le 140 mondial.
En juin 2003, il devient propriétaire du Chelsea FC, club de première division anglaise de football.
Roman Abramovitch naît dans une famille juive. Peu après sa naissance, sa mère meurt alors qu'il n’a que 18 mois. À l'âge de quatre ans, il perd son père Arkadi des suites d’un accident de chantier. Il est alors élevé par son oncle paternel, Leib Abramovitch, à Oukhta (à 1 300 km de Moscou), jusqu’à ses huit ans, puis à Moscou par un autre oncle, Abraam. Il poursuit ses études quand il est incorporé dans l’armée soviétique. Après son service militaire, il intègre le prestigieux Institut du pétrole et du gaz de Moscou, qu’il abandonne pour se lancer dans les affaires. Il obtient pourtant un diplôme de pétrochimie. Bien plus tard, en 2000, il obtient un diplôme de l’Académie de Moscou.
