Paul Feig, de son vrai nom Paul Samuel Feig, né le 17 septembre 1962 à Royal Oak, dans le Michigan, aux (États-Unis), est un acteur, réalisateur, scénariste et producteur américain.
Né à Royal Oak, dans le Michigan, il a vécu à Mount Clemens. Feig est diplômé de la Chippewa Valley High School Class en 1980, suivi de la USC School of Cinema-Television quatre années plus tard.
Ses débuts d'acteur se font dans la seconde moitié des années 1980, mais ses rôles les plus notables sont celui de Stanley dans Ski Patrol (en), Tim, directeur d'un camp pour obèse dans La Colo des gourmands et le professeur de sciences Eugene Pool dans la première saison de Sabrina, l'apprentie sorcière, tout en enchaînant des apparitions au cinéma (That Thing You Do!, Président ? Vous avez dit président ?, Harvard à tout prix, En cloque, mode d'emploi, Walk Hard).
Mais c'est derrière la caméra, en tant que réalisateur et scénariste qu'il va se faire une réputation : en 1999, il crée et co-produit la comédie dramatique adolescente Freaks and Geeks, qui échoue en termes d'audiences, mais est acclamée par la critique, et devient ainsi culte au bout de son unique saison. Il essaye alors de passer au grand écran : mais en 2003, le film dramatique I Am David, qu'il écrit et réalise, est un échec critique et commercial. Il revient donc à la télévision.
