Sir Andrew Barron Murray, dit Andy Murray, est un joueur professionnel de tennis écossais né le 15 mai 1987 à Glasgow.
Il a remporté quarante-six titres ATP en simple, dont l'US Open 2012, Wimbledon en 2013 et 2016, le Masters 2016 et quatorze Masters 1000, ainsi que deux médailles d'or en simple messieurs aux Jeux olympiques 2012 à Londres, et en 2016 à Rio, ce qui fait de lui le seul joueur double champion olympique en simple. Il a également été finaliste de l'US Open 2008, de l'Open d'Australie 2010, 2011, 2013, 2015 et 2016, de Wimbledon 2012 et de Roland-Garros 2016. Le 7 novembre 2016, il devient le vingt-sixième numéro 1 mondial à l'ATP et le premier joueur britannique au sommet de ce classement. Son palmarès et son niveau de jeu le classent parmi le « Big Four » en compagnie de ses grands rivaux Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal et Novak Djokovic.
Son palmarès en double est moindre, avec seulement trois titres ATP dont deux aux côtés de son frère aîné Jamie Murray. Il a également remporté la médaille d'argent des Jeux olympiques 2012 en mixte avec sa compatriote Laura Robson. En jouant à la fois en simple et en double, il a aussi permis à l'équipe de Grande-Bretagne de Coupe Davis de remporter la Coupe Davis en 2015, la première de son pays depuis 1936. À partir de 2017, sa carrière est sévèrement freinée par des problèmes à la hanche et plusieurs opérations. Il est formellement anobli par le Prince Charles au Palais de Buckingham le 16 mai 2019.
