Stanislas "Stan" Wawrinka (Saint-Barthélemy, Suiza, 28 de marzo de 1985) es un tenista profesional suizo, ganandor de tres torneos de Grand Slam y su mejor ranking hasta la fecha ha sido el puesto n.° 3 en el ranking ATP individual.
Es uno de los pocos jugadores que han vencido a todos los miembros del Big Four; A Roger Federer (3 ocasiones) en Montecarlo 2009 y 2014, además en Roland Garros 2015. A Rafael Nadal (3 ocasiones) en el Abierto de Australia 2014, Roma 2015 y París 2015. A Novak Djokovic (5 ocasiones) en Umag 2006, Viena 2006, Australia 2014, Roland Garros 2015 y el US Open 2016, y finalmente a Andy Murray (8 ocasiones) en Copa Davis 2005, Miami 2006, Roma 2008, US Open 2010, Montecarlo 2013, US Open 2013, ATP World Tour Finals 2015 y en Roland Garros 2017.
En enero de 2014 consiguió su primer título de Grand Slam (tenis) al coronarse campeón del Abierto de Australia, derrotando al campeón defensor, Novak Djokovic, en cuartos de final y venciendo al n.º 1 Rafael Nadal por tres sets a uno en la final. Con esa victoria accedió al n.º 3 en el ranking ATP, siendo su mejor posición como profesional. El 7 de junio de 2015 ganó el Torneo de Roland Garros, su segundo título de Grand Slam, tras derrotar en la final al serbio Novak Djokovic en cuatro sets por 4-6, 6-4, 6-3 y 6-4. En 2016 fue campeón en el Abierto de Estados Unidos ganándole en 4 sets al serbio Novak Djokovic en la final.
