Shayne Thomas Ward (* 16 de octubre de 1984) es un cantante de pop británico, que ha tenido bastante éxito en Reino Unido e Irlanda y también en Asia, después de ganar la segunda edición de The X Factor
Shayne Ward nació en 1984 en Clayton, Manchester. De padres nómadas irlandeses, creció junto con sus otros hermanos: Mark, Martin, Michael, Lisa, Leona y Emma. Antes de su victoria en The X Factor, Ward participaba en una banda llamada Destiny (Destino) junto con dos chicas y actuaban en pubs, clubs y bodas.
Comenzó a salir con Faye McKeever, la pareja se comprometió sin embargo se separaron en enero de 2014.
Desde el 2016 sale con la actriz Sophie Austin. El 1 de agosto del mismo año se anunció que la pareja estaba esperando a su primer bebé juntos. A principios de diciembre del 2016 le dieron la bienvenida a su hija, Willow May Ward.
A principios de 2005, Ward participó en la segunda edición de The X Factor. Él impresionó a los tres jueces (Simon Cowell, Sharon Osbourne y Louis Walsh) y pasó a las siguientes fases. Una vez en el programa entró en el grupo de 16 a 24 años, cuyo mentor era Louis. Rápidamente Shayne Ward se convirtió en el favorito para ganar el programa. Una vez en la gran final, Ward fue coronado ganador gracias a más de 10.8 millones de votos telefónicos, ganando así la oportunidad de grabar un disco. Después de la competición, su mentor Louis Walsh se convirtió en su mánager.
