Niurka Melanie Marcos Calle (La Habana, Cuba, 25 de noviembre de 1967) conocida simplemente como Niurka es una vedette, cantante, bailarina y actriz cubana radicada en México.
Es la hija de Carmelo Marcos y Celestina Calle.
Estudió cuatro años en la Escuela Nacional Circense de Cuba. Abandonó su país para ir a México, e ingresó a trabajar como bailarina en el centro nocturno Tropicana de Mérida, Yucatán, donde empezó a incursionar en el mundo del vedettismo.
Niurka fue a México, donde conoció a quien sería su primer esposo, de nombre Federico, un mexicano que trabajaba en Mazatlán. Luego, en Baja California, tuvo a su primer hijo, Kiko. Sin embargo; Marcos regresó a Cuba junto a su hijo y su madre debido a las constantes agresiones que sufría por parte de su esposo. Luego de haberse divorciado de su primer esposo, comienza una discreta relación con otro hombre de origen mexicano quien a la postre se convertiría en el padre de su segunda hija, Romina.
