Mireia Belmonte García (Badalona, Barcelona, 10 de noviembre de 1990) es una nadadora española, campeona olímpica, mundial y europea, que compite en las categorías de estilos, mariposa y libre.
La nadadora barcelonesa ha participado en tres Juegos Olímpicos. Debutó en la competición olímpica con 17 años, en Pekín 2008. Su segunda participación fue en Londres 2012, en los que estrenó su medallero olímpico con dos platas en 200 m mariposa y en 800 m libres, rebajando en cuatro segundos el récord de España. En los más recientes de Río 2016, se proclamó campeona olímpica de 200 m mariposa, –prueba en la que se ha proclamado a su vez, campeona mundial y europea–, y logró la medalla de bronce en 400 m estilos.
Pertenece al «UCAM Club Natación Fuensanta», club adscrito a la Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia, donde estudia un Grado en Publicidad y Relaciones Públicas.
Mireia, hija de José Belmonte —nacido en la localidad granadina de Freila y de donde se trasladó a Cataluña de niño— y Paqui García —natural de Huelma, en la provincia de Jaén—, siempre ha vivido en el barrio badalonés de La Salud., el pueblo que cuando salto a la fama le hizo hija predilecta de este y le puso su nombre y apellido al polideportivo donde se encuentra la piscina en la que aprendió a nadar.
