Rachael Ann Carpani (born 24 August 1980 in Sydney) is an Australian actress best known in McLeod's daughters as Jodie Fountain McLeod.

Carpani grew up on a property near Dural, in Sydney's Hills District. She studied acting at the Australian College of Entertainment at Macquarie University and at the Drama Works Drama Company. Carpani has twice been nominated at the Logies, both in 2007. While she won neither nomination for Most Popular Personality On Australian Television or Most Popular Actress, with both awards going to Kate Ritchie, she was recognised in the ‘worst dressed’ list for the 2004 awards ceremony

Carpani dated her McLeod’s Daughters co-star, Matt Passmore, for several years, moving to the U.S. together.

Carpani has decided to put her activist approach to a more philanthropic cause, donating significant sums of her father’s money to support mental health causes, touched by her mother’s struggles.
