Michelle Denis Cross-Manhart (née Hubbard; born October 20, 1976), better known as Michelle Manhart, is a former United States Air Force Military Training Instructor who was based at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas, and held the rank of Staff Sergeant. In January 2007 she was relieved of duty and placed under investigation for posing nude in Playboy magazine.

Manhart was born in Oakland, California. After her parents divorced, Manhart grew up living in Chico and Susanville, California. A member of the wrestling team, Manhart graduated from Pleasant Valley High School in Chico in 1994 and went to Lackland Air Force Base for basic training after graduation. Manhart's father, stepfather, and grandfather all served in the U.S. military.

Manhart joined the United States Air Force in 1994, and is married with two children. When her husband was assigned to Waterloo, Iowa as an Air Force recruiter, she transferred to the Iowa Air National Guard. After the September 11, 2001 attacks she was recalled to active duty and spent time deployed to Kuwait in 2002. Manhart also enrolled at the University of Northern Iowa and graduated in 2004 with a degree in political science.
