Carrie Wong (Chinese: 黄思恬; pinyin: Huáng SīTián; born 1 January 1994) is a Singaporean actress, contracted under MediaCorp. She was discovered through Mediacorp Channel U's reality television competition Hey Gorgeous.
The only child of a housewife mother and retiree father who worked in a security firm, Wong was raised in a mandarin-speaking family. She studied at Evergreen Secondary School where she was a member of the volleyball and track and field teams. She later graduated in 2014 with a diploma course in hospitality and tourism management from Nanyang Polytechnic, and it was during her final year when she made it to one of the top three contestants in Hey Gorgeous in 2013.
Wong was scouted at her school campus and chosen as one of the six contestants for the Preliminary Rounds of the second season of Hey Gorgeous in 2013 by the host of the programme Ben Yeo. In January 2014, having emerged as second runner-up, behind winner and fellow Nanyang Polytechnic student, Alfred Low, Wong officially signed on to MediaCorp as a full-time artiste.
