Mary Travers, née le 9 novembre 1936 à Louisville (Kentucky) et morte le 16 septembre 2009 à Danbury (Connecticut), est une chanteuse américaine membre du groupe Peter, Paul and Mary.
Son père, Robert Travers, et sa mère, Virginia Coigney, sont deux journalistes. En 1938, La famille déménage à Greenwich Village à New York.
Le groupe Peter, Paul et Mary est formé en 1961.
Elle meurt en 2009, d'une leucémie.
Elle est mariée trois fois. Elle a eu deux filles, Erika Marshall (née en 1960) à Naples (Floride) et Alicia Travers (née en 1965) à Greenwich village.
