Valentina Valeryevna Legkostupova (Russian: Валенти́на Вале́рьевна Легкосту́пова; born December 30, 1965 in Khabarovsk, Khabarovsk Krai, RSFSR, USSR) is a Soviet and Russian pop singer, teacher, producer. Honored Artist of the Russian Federation (2001).
Valentina Legkostupova was born on December 30, 1965 in Khabarovsk. Father — Valery Vladimirovich, mother — Galina Ivanovna. When she was three years old, the family moved to Feodosia.
The debut of the singer on the stage took place in 1985 in Kherson of the Ukrainian SSR a solo concert with a band led by Senya Son.
On June 30, 1986, Valentina Legkostupova received the second prize of the 1st All-Union Television Jurmala Young Pop Singer Competition, where she performed with the songs The Shore of Happiness (Vladimir Danilin, Senya Son — Ilya Reznik) and I Still Hope (Margarita Pushkina — Kris Kelmi). In the same year, she began collaborating with composer Raimonds Pauls (Two, In White Keys Birch and other songs). From 1986 to 1992 she worked in the Tula Regional Philharmonic.
