Osvaldo Benavides (born June 14, 1979, Mexico City, Mexico), is a Mexican actor, writer, producer and cinematographer.
Born in Mexico City, Mexico, currently resides in Tepoztlán, Morelos. Osvaldo began acting at age 9 years. He has participated in musical theater rods as: "El Graduado" and "Todos eran mis hijos".
He made his film debut in 1990 in the movie La primera noche. He later made his television debut at the age of 9 years in the telenovela El abuelo y yo. In 1995 obtained his second television role at the age of 16 years, in the telenovela María la del Barrio, where he shared credits with Thalía and Fernando Colunga. He has participated in several telenovelas from Televisa such as El premio mayor, Te sigo amando, Preciosa, Locura de amor, Daniela and Piel de otoño. In 2010 he participated in the TV series Gritos de muerte y libertad. In that same year he participated in Soy tu fan and Cloroformo. In 2011 returned to telenovelas with La que no podía amar playing "Miguel Carmona", in that year he became known as soap opera villain and director.
