Nikita Andreyevich Gusev (Russian: Никита Андреевич Гусев; born 8 July 1992) is a Russian professional ice hockey player. He is currently playing with SKA Saint Petersburg of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). Gusev was selected by the Tampa Bay Lightning in the 7th round (202nd overall) of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.
On 21 June 2017, with the selection of Jason Garrison by the Vegas Golden Knights in the 2017 NHL Expansion Draft, the Knights received from the Lightning the rights to Gusev, along with a 2nd-round pick in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft, and a 4th-round pick in the 2018 NHL Entry Draft.
On 14 July 2017, Gusev signed a two-year extension with SKA Saint Petersburg. Gusev will be 27 at the end of the contract, and will have the opportunity to enter the NHL as an unrestricted free agent.
Gusev has played for the Russian national team in the World Junior Championships and World Championships. He was a member of the Olympic Athletes from Russia team at the 2018 Winter Olympics.
