Madison La'akea Te-Lan Hall Chock (born July 2, 1992) is an American ice dancer. With partner Evan Bates, she is a two-time World medalist (silver in 2015, bronze in 2016), a two-time Grand Prix Final silver medalist (2014–15, 2015–16), a four-time Four Continents medalist (2013, 2015, 2016, 2017), and the 2015 U.S. national champion. The two represented the United States at the 2014 and 2018 Winter Olympics.
With former partner Greg Zuerlein, Chock is the 2009 World Junior champion, 2008 JGP Final champion, and 2011 U.S. national bronze medalist. They competed together from 2006 to 2011.
Madison La'akea Te-Lan Hall Chock was born in Redondo Beach, California. She went to Novi High School. She is of Chinese-Hawaiian descent on her father's side, and German, English, Irish, French, and Dutch descent on her mother's side. La'akea means "sacred light from heaven" and Te-Lan (特蘭) means "special or unique orchid." As of 2017, she and Bates are dating.
