Kakhi Kavsadze (კახი კავსაძე; born on June 5, 1935 in Tbilisi, Georgia) is a Georgian and Russian film, television and stage actor.
He was born in Tbilisi. After his birth, his parents moved to Tkibuli. His father, conductor David Kavsadze 1941 the II war. He served in the Red Army’s 224 th Rifle Brigade when he was captured. The prison camp was appointed head of the ethnographic team. After the war, on 10 January 1946, Soviet authorities arrested David Kavsadze and charged him – treason committed by the military. He was exiled in the Sverdlovsk Oblast, where he died.
Kakhi Kavsadze he graduated in 1959 from the Shota Rustaveli Theatre and Film University and the Rustaveli Theatre. His debut in the cinema of the 50s, the People’s Artist (1981), the city of Dushanbe on the Festival Prize winner (1989).
He became famous for Adam (Divine Comedy), Tavadi Kotsia (Gushindelni), Devdariani (Sabraldebo daskvna), Iliko (Me, Grandma, Iliko and Ilarioni), Simon Chachava (The Caucasian Chalk Circle), Lord (Richard III), Kent (King Lear), and Rasputin (Kvachi Kvachantiradze).
