Joshua James Duggar (born March 3, 1988) is a former American television personality and political activist. He is best known for his appearances on the reality television series 19 Kids and Counting and Counting On. The eldest child of Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar's 19 children, Duggar was the executive director of FRC Action, a lobbying PAC sponsored by the Family Research Council, from June 2013 to May 2015, when news broke that he had molested multiple under-age girls, including four of his sisters, when he was aged 14–15.
Revelations that Duggar had molested five girls between 2002 and 2003 and had been a member of the website Ashley Madison led to the cancellation of 19 Kids and Counting on July 16, 2015. Duggar's publicity woes were named one of the "10 Big Scandals of 2015" by USA Today while the Washington Post listed Duggar as one of the "15 People the Internet Hated Most in 2015".
