Joel Edmundson (born June 28, 1993) is a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman currently playing for the St. Louis Blues of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was selected in the second round, 46th overall, of the 2011 NHL Entry Draft. Edmundson won the Stanley Cup in 2019 with the Blues.
Edmundson was chosen in the sixth round, 121st overall, of the 2008 Western Hockey League (WHL) Bantam Draft by the Moose Jaw Warriors. In his WHL rookie season, Edmundson played in 71 games for the Warriors. He scored 2 goals and added 18 assists for 20 points while adding on 95 penalty minutes. He later played for the Kamloops Blazers. In March 2013, Edmundson signed an entry-level contract with the St. Louis Blues. He played the following two seasons for the Blues' American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Chicago Wolves.
In October 2015, it was announced that Edmundson had made the opening night roster of the St. Louis Blues for the 2015–16 season. He scored his first career NHL goal on March 25, 2016, against the Vancouver Canucks.
