Gabrielle Dennis (born October 19, 1981) is an American actress and comedian. Known mostly for her work in cable television (The Game, Blue Mountain State, The Underground). Dennis starred in the Fox medical drama Rosewood alongside Morris Chestnut. In 2018, she began starring as Tilda Johnson in the Marvel Cinematic Universe series, Luke Cage.
Dennis attended The School for Creative and Performing Arts as a dance and theater major and later went on to graduate with honors from Howard University. Dennis' first acting roles came in the television film A Mom for Christmas, starring Olivia Newton-John followed by A Rage in Harlem starring Gregory Hines, Robin Given, and Forest Whitaker. Both roles were extremely small. From 1998 to 2000, she served as a co-host on Teen Summit, a teenage talk show that aired on BET. In 2006, she appeared on Damon Wayans' sketch comedy show The Underground which aired on Showtime.
