Erin Marie Hogan (born September 22, 1985) is an American actress and activist from St. Louis, Missouri. Hogan is mostly seen in horror films and American cable television. She is a mental health advocate, who in 2015 announced that she battles depression and anxiety. Erin is known to volunteer with homeless and abandoned animals. She's also known in the paranormal world as what she describes as an "optimistic skeptic."
Born near the historic The Hill, St. Louis, Missouri, Hogan began singing, acting, and dancing at a young age. She was enrolled in the Ballet Conservatory of Saint Louis where she studied before moving to COCA to continue her training. Throughout childhood, Erin participated in school plays and did some modeling on the side, but maintained a relatively normal childhood in spite of her mother's position as a prominent attorney. During high school at Soldan International Studies High School, Hogan began singing competitively and performing in community and underground theatre. She later received her degree in Film and Video Production from Webster University with a minor in Music.
