Dina Alekseyevna Averina (Russian: Дина Алексеевна Аверина; born 13 August 1998) is a Russian individual rhythmic gymnast. She is a three-time (2019, 2018, 2017) World All-around Champion, the 2018 European All-around silver medalist and the 2016 Grand Prix Final All-around silver medalist. On the National level, she is the 2017 and 2018 Russian National All-around champion and the 2013 Russian Junior All-around bronze medalist. Her identical twin sister, Arina Averina, is also a competitive rhythmic gymnast and the 2018 European champion.
Born to parents Ksenia Averina and Alexey Averin, Dina and Arina started gymnastics at four years old. Dina and Arina were born on August 13th, 1998. Arina was born 20 minutes ahead of Dina, while both have moles on the upper cheekbone (near the right ear), Dina has it on the lower right compared to Arina's upper right. Her sister Arina has a scar above her right eye, caused after an accident with a club. They have an older sister named Polina. Dina and Arina share the same instagram account.
