Ana Maria Braga Maffeis (born April 1, 1949) is a Brazilian television presenter and journalist.
Ana Maria is the daughter of the Italian Natale Giuseppe Maffeis and the Brazilian Lourdes Braga. She started her career in journalism in the newsprogram Rede Tupi de Notícias at Rede Tupi. On the written press, she worked at Editora Abril as commercial director for fashion magazines such as Cláudia. Ana Maria Braga attained national recognition at Rede Record, where she presented the morning show Note e Anote and talk-show Programa Ana Maria Braga. She presents since 1999 the variety program Mais Você, at Rede Globo, which she co-hosts with a parrot puppet named Louro José. Before becoming a journalist Braga graduated in biology at the São Paulo State University (UNESP), at São José do Rio Preto, specializing in zoology at the same university.
She is also an Italian citizen thanks to her father who is Italian.
