Alex J. Sawyer (born 13 February 1993) is a British actor, director and singer.

Sawyer was born in Kent to a Ghanaian mother and English father. He attended Avenue Primary School in Belmont, Aberdour School and King’s College School in Wimbledon.

Sawyer began acting at the age of 9 when he was in a production of Oliver! as one of the chorus members in a local theatre. He has attended classes at Laine Theatre Arts since the age of 11, and after appearing in a school production of Blue Orange was scouted by an agent, starting his career as an actor.
