Wamiqa Gabbi is an Indian film actress who has starred in Hindi, Punjabi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Telugu films.

Wamiqa was born and brought up in Chandigarh. Her father, Govardhan Gabbi is a Punjabi writer and her mother, Raj Kumari, an educationist. Her younger brother Haardik Gabbi is also a budding actor and Musician. Always wanting to be an actress, she was just eight years old when she acted in a Punjabi television-serial Wamiqa can write and understand Punjabi, Hindi and English languages.
